With the electro-hydraulic control unit (2 – 24 functions), actuated by an electronic unit, longwall operations can be controlled fully automatically.

Functional principle:
An electric impulse is sent to a valve cartridge, usually of the 3/2-way type. Upon this impulse, the cartridge releases the pressure to the actuated device. The returning hydraulic fluid is guided into the return line.
