Yield valves loaded with nitrogen N2 prevent the pressure from exceeding a defined level. They are used in connection with check valve controlled actuators, predominantly at the leg.

Functional principle:
The valve opens as soon as the set pressure maximum is exceeded. As a result the hydraulic fluid will flow out in the open.
