With these multi-hose electro-hydraulic control units ( 6 – 22 functions), actuated by an electronic control device, longwall operations can be controlled fully automatically. The multi-hose enables shield-to-shield control. This provides the advantage that, while the system of one shield is being maintained, that shield can be actuated via the adjacent one.

Functional principle:
An electric impulse is sent to a 3/2-way valve cartridge which releases the pressure to the actuated device. The returning hydraulic fluid is guided into the return line.
