Throttle valves

Product description:
These valves throttle the flow until a defined maximum pressure level is reached. Upon reaching this level, they completely release the flow pressure. The main fields of application are advancing ram cylinders.

Functional principle:
The hydraulic fluid flows slowly into the cylinder chamber via a throttle, increasing the pressure gradually. This reduces the cylinder start-up speed and minimizes the stress acting on the mechanical fixtures. At approx. 8 – 9 MPa, the valve will open completely, allowing the hydraulic fluid to flow at the maximum rate.
